  This late war White Phosphorus ("Willy Pete") Hand Grenade was made and used by the U.S. during WWII and Korea. A few were actually shipped to Vietnam in the early 1960's.

  The M18 was a thin steel smoke grenade, filled with a HC-mixture. Four smoke emitting holes are located on the top and one on the base. Many variations on this are known. The early models were painted light grey, later models were painted olive drab.  Fuzes M200A1, M201
  or M201A1 were fitted on this grenade.

  Baratol was an explosive made of a mixture of TNT and Barium nitrate, with a small quantity (about 1%)[1] of wax used as a binder. TNT typically makes up 25-33% of the mixture. Because of the high density of barium nitrate, Baratol was a density charge.
  
  Baratol was used as the "slow" compound in the explosive lenses of early atomic bombs with Composition B often used as the "fast" explosive component. Atomic bombs like those detonated in 1945 at Trinity, the Soviet Joe 1 in 1949, and in India in 1972, used Baratol and Composition B.
  
   Our German Baratol blocks are INERT training aids, or for reenactor use. Also a nice Pioneer display item.

Amatol is a highly explosive material made from a mixture of TNT and ammonium nitrate. Its name originates from the words ammonium and toluene (a raw material of TNT). Amatol was used extensively during World War I and World War II, typically as an explosive in military weapons such as aircraft bombs, explosive blocks, shells, depth charges and naval mines. It was eventually replaced with alternative explosives such as Composition B, torpex and tritonal.

 Our German Amatol blocks are INERT training aids, or for reenactor use. Also a nice German WWII Pioneer display item.
